Summertime for Children
June 27th, 2007

This year we will add a focus on the growing seasons for plants. Beginning in fall, we will plant bulbs, do some hydroponics, get various plants ready for their winter sleep, and observe the color changes of the leaves of various trees.
Future lessons will involve germination of seeds, planting seedlings, adding nutrients, and observing differences in watering cycles. A hands on approach will mean getting outdoors as well as bringing the outdoors in. The possibilities for discovery are endless!
Adding this to the curriculum will broaden our exploration of land formations, cultures and the plants they use, sensorial lessons in smell, color, touch, sight, and eventually taste.
We hope to have a wonderful experience.

Welcome Back Parents!I hope everyone had a wonderful summer! The first week of school we will be reviewing vocabulary and Spanish conversation from last year. I hope your children had a chance to practice their Spanish over the summer. I look forward to starting the school year and working with your children again this year.
